sc = single crochet,
ch 2 sp = chain 2 space
Note: Use three strands of yarn throughout.

Note: Using one strand of Recycled Silk and one of Springy Capelli, plus one strand of novelty yarn, (Bumble Bee, Lurex or Cotton Ribbon) -three strands at all times. Work two rows and then change to a different novelty yarn. Alternate Novelty Yarns (Bumble Bee and Ribbons) every 4 to 5 rows.
Foundation row: Ch 18, sc in 6th ch from hook, (ch 3, skip 2 ch, sc in 3rd ch) repeat across until last 2 ch, ch2, dc in 1st ch of foundation chain.
Row 1: Ch 5, turn, sc in first ch 3 loop, (ch 3, sc in next ch 3 loop) 3 times, ch 2, dc in 1st ch of chain 5 loop.
Repeat: row 1 until scarf is 50" long.
Fringe: If desired, cut 13" pieces of yarn for fringe.
