Stockinette Stitch

Hat: Cast on 70 sts knit for 7Ó

Crown: Begin decreases, *knit 9, k2tog repeat until the end of the row.
Next Row: Purl back. Continue decreasing every other row, knitting 1 less stitch between decs. *knit 8, k2togs*-Purl *knit 7, k2tog*-PurlÉetc. Continue unitl 6sts remain. BO

Finishing: Sew the back seam.
