Body: Front and back are worked together until armholes. CO 126 (136, 145) sts. Starting with a WS row work two rows in garter st. Establish front band
Row 1(WS): K4, p to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 2(RS): K across.
Row 3: Repeat row 1.
Stripe at Bottom of Body: (RS), k 4 st, add 1 strand of Bumble Bee to Springy Capelli), k across to last 4 sts K 4 sts without Sparkle, repeat this row once.
Next row: Keeping Garter st band of 4 sts at beginning and end of rounds as established, K 4, add Bumble Bee P 2, without Bumble Bee knit across to last 6 sts, add Sparkle P 2, without Bumble Bee K4 . Work even until 12" (12, 13) from beginning, ending with a WS row.
Armhole/Neck Shaping: Begin armhole K4, add Bumble Bee P2 , without Bumble Bee K26 (28,30) sts, BO 6 sts, K 50 (56, 61) sts, BO 6 sts, K 26 (28, 30) sts, with Bumble Bee P2, without Bumble Bee K4. Place back and right front sts on holders, working left front only dec 1 st at armhole edge every RS row 5 (6,7) times keeping the front band as established.
At the same time shape neck when armhole measures 5" (5, 6) as follows: (WS) BO 11 sts at beg. of next row, P10 (11,13) sts. Next row K across until 3 sts remain, K 2 tog, K1.
Next row: P1, P2 tog P across, 8 (9, 10) sts. Work even until armhole measures 6" (6, 7) BO. You may place these sts on a holder if you want to do a three needle BO at the shoulder. Place right front sts on needle and finish as the left front reversing shaping. Place back sts. on needle and work armhole shaping on both ends of every RS row 5 (6, 7) times. When armhole measures 6"(6, 7)Ó BO across 40 (44, 47) sts.
You may also work three needle BO matching the 8 (9, 10) shoulder sts.
Sleeves: (Make 2). CO 26 (28, 30) sts. Beginning with a WS row, work next two rows in Garter st, and following three rows in St. st. ending with a WS row.
Stripe at Sleeve Band: Add Bumvle Bee K across (RS) row, and K across next row (WS) row. Without Bumble Bee work 4 rows in St st., repeat from * twice. Without Bumble Bee, continue working in St. st . At the same time Inc 1 st at each end of 8th (8th, 6th) row 8 (9, 10) times, 42 (46, 50) sts. Work even until 18" from CO edge, or desired length of sleeve to underarm.
Begin sleeve cap shaping: BO 3 sts at beg of next two rows, then dec 1 st. at each end of every other row 6 (6, 7) times, 24 (28, 30) sts. Work even until 6" (6, 7)Ó from BO armhole sts, BO 8 (9, 10) sts at beg. of next 2 rows. BO 8 (10, 10) sts.
Note: A reverse lapel may be worked if you wish.
Collar: CO 44 (44, 46) sts. Beginning with RS row, work 6 rows in St st.
Next row (RS), add Bumble Bee K across.
Next row (WS) K across. Without Sparkle work 4 rows in St st. BO.
Seaming: Stitch shoulder seams, or work 3-needle bind off. Insert sleeves into armhole. Stitch sleeve and side seams. Sew collar into neckline of jacket beginning and ending at the CC stripe on the front band.
Edging: With only 1 strand of Bumble Bee and/or 1 stand of Springy Capelli, begin at lower right front edge, RS facing. Single crochet with ÒHÓ hook up front of jacket edge, across bound off top of front band, around the three sides of the collar, across the top of the left front BO neckline sts (top of front band), and down the left front to the hemline.
