US #10.5 or 11 Needles - to give correct gauge
Stockinette Stitch
*Gauge: 11 sts = 4"

Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout, 1 strand of Springy Capelli and 1 strand of Recycled Silk or Novelty Yarn. Alternate Recycled Silk and Novelty Yarn (Bumble Bee and Ribbons) every 4 to 5 rows.

Back: CO 44 (50) sts. Work in K1, P1 rib for two rows. Working in St st and remembering to change yarns,
work even until piece measures 15 (16)" from CO row, end with WS row.
Armhole Shaping: BO 4 sts at beginning of next 2 rows. Work 2 rows even. Dec 1 st each end of next row, then every other row 0(1) time, then every 4th row once. Work even until armhole measures 7 3/4 (8)".
Shoulder shaping: BO 2 (3) sts at beginning of next 2 rows. BO remaining sts on following row.
Front: Work same as the back.
Sleeve: (make 2): CO 22(24) sts. Work 3" (2 1/2") in St st. Alternating Novelty yarns as done in body of sweater, inc 1 sts at end of next RS row and every 7th (6th) row 6 (7) times.
Work even until sleeve is 16 3/4" (18)" long, ending with a WS row.
Armhole Shaping: BO 3(4) sts at beginning of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each end of next 3 rows. Dec 1 st at beginning of next 10(11) rows. BO remaining sts.
Finishing: Sew shoulder seams. Neck opening will be about 19 3/4 (20 3/4)". Sew sleeves into armholes. Stitch sleeve and side seams.
