Note: Always knit with two strands of yarn, one will be the recycled silk the second will be one of the novelty yarns. Change the novelty yarn every 2Ó or 3Ó.
Poncho: US #13 Needles - to give correct gauge *Gauge: Stockinette Stitch 9 sts = 4" (10cm)
Note: It is important to knit to gauge or you will run out of yarn. Knitting Instructions: Rectangle #1- CO 65 stitches. Work in stockinette stitch (K1 row, P 1 row), changing embellishment yarn randomly as desired. Knit approximately 50 rows, or until 17". BO.
Repeat to make rectangle #2.
Finishing: Sew or Crochet to attach end of rectangle #1 to first 17" of CO edge of rectangle #2. Attach end of rectangle #2 to last 17"edge of rectangle #1.
Fringe: Measure and Cut Fringe: Cut 16" strands of all novelty yarns and Recycled Silk.
Attach Fringe: Knot fringe every 1.5" on all lower edges of poncho
