Circular Needles - to give correct gauge

*Gauge: 11 sts = 4" ~ 13 rows = 4"
Pattern stitch: Seeded rib (multiple of 4 sts + 1) Row 1 (RS): P1, *k3, p1 repeat from * to end Row 2 (WS): K2, p1, *k3, p1 repeat from * to last 2 sts, k2.

Note: Use two strands of yarn throughout: 1 strand of Springy Capelli (carry throughout to add stretch and softness) and 1 strand of Tie Dyed Viscose or Novelty Yarn *Use Bumble Bee, Ribbon & Lurex Ribbon for Collar as indicated in pattern instructions

Back: With "TV" & "SC" held together, cast on 38(42,46)sts and work in 2/2 rib (knit 2/purl 2), increase 1 st each end every 8th row 5 times -48(52,56 sts) Work even until 8 1/2(9 ,10)inches.
Raglan Armhole shaping: Begin st st and decrease 1st at each end of next and every other row 5(6,6) times then decrease every row 11(10,10) times -16(20,24) st) BO

Right Front: With "TV" & "SC" held together, cast on 16(20,22) sts and working in 2/2 rib, increase 1 st at beginning (Center front edge)of every right side row- 4 times. Then add 1 st at the end (armhole edge)of every 4th row - 4 times. At the same time, when the work measures 5 1/2(6,7) inches begin the v-neck decreases(mark this row): decrease 1 st at the beginning of each right side row 8 times. When the work measures 7 1/2 inches begin armhole shaping and continue v neck decreases
Raglan Armhole shaping: Decrease 1st at end of every right side row until 1 st remains.

Left Front: Work as for right front, reversing all shaping.

Sleeves: ( make 2)With "TV" & "SC" held together, cast on 40(42,46) sts Working in 1/1/ rib for 2 rows. Change to st st decrease 1st at each edge on every other row 3 times. 34(36,40) sts Work even until 3 1/2(4,5) inches from beginning. Begin 2/2 rib (knit2/purl2) until 19 1/2(20,21)inches from beginning.
Begin armhole decreases: Decrease 1 st each end of every right side row. 10 times (14 sts) work even until sleeve measures 291/2(30, 32) inches. BO

Finishing: Sew raglan seams together. . Sew underarm and sleeve seams.

Collar: With "BB" pick and knit 140(144,148) sts around the neck edge beginning at the v-neck marker, along the right sleeve top,back neck, left sleeve top and stopping at the left side v-neck marker. Work in 2/2 rib for 2 1/2 inches. Bind off 10 (12,12)at the beginning of the next 2 rows. continue on 120(120,124) sts with "L" for 2 1/2 inches.
Next row: work in pattern for 60(60,62)sts (Center back) and place the remaining sts on a holder, working each side separately, bind off 4 sts at the beginning of each v-neck edge until no stitches remain. Attach yarn to other side and bind off 4 at the beginning of each v-neck edge.
Crochet edge: With "L", starting at collar sc down the front and bottom of cardigan make chain 3 loop if desired for a button just under the collar.
